It is not the purpose of the program to utilize youths as regular or reserve officers and to expose them to the potential dangerous elements we face in our day-to-day operations.
The role of a cadet is to be more of an observer of than a participant in police work. The Post opens many doors for its participants and guides them to a challenging but rewarding career in Law Enforcement.
